Alexandria Red River Festival

The City of Alexandria introduces the Alexandria Red River Festival, where culture, arts, food, and music come together. By partnering with several local organizations and programs – the City of Alexandria wanted to bring our community together for a special five-day event in Downtown Alexandria. Together with local businesses, community participants, teams, civic leaders and sponsors, the Alexandria Red River Festival embodies the spirit of community, culture, and collaboration. Locals and visitors alike will have plenty to see and do in Downtown Alexandria during the event. With local talent, music, and savory foods, you won't want to miss a single minute!

The Alexandria Red River Festival is the culmination of several local entities and talents that share common goals to bring Alexandria together and promote the cultural diversity in the community. With that in mind, the brand for this incredible festival requires a passionate tone that inspires unity and uniqueness. The identity was split into four major components, Culture, Arts, Food, and Music that represent the attractions and offerings. Hand-drawn elements, life-size cutouts, and other interactive materials, the event were crafted to promote the event throughout the city and drive engagement online. The Alexandria Red River Festival strives to be a major attraction to visitors and a way for the community to show the best Alexandria has to offer.
